Dr. Aparna Joshi was born and raised in Pune, India, a place regarded as the Oxford of the East. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Bombay in 1998 and worked as a dentist in Pune. In 2003 she immigrated to Canada to pursue her DDS degree and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto in 2009. In June Dr. Joshi joined Dr. Kapur and his dynamic team at the Maple Dental Office and Mapleview Dental Centre.

Dr. Joshi has over 10 years of experience in the field of Dentistry and is licensed to provide pain-free dental care using enhanced sedation techniques including nitrous-oxide and conscious sedation.

Dr. Joshi’s hobbies include travelling, camping and exploring the wilderness in Canada’s state and national parks along with her husband Ajit. She is a member of the World Wildlife fund for Nature (WWF) and is actively involved in nature conservation efforts.

Dr. Joshi’s goal in her professional career is to encompass her clinical experience from the East and West to treat her patients with compassion to reduce their anxiety, and provide pain-free dental care.
